The top bell tower in this picture is the Musei Capitolini (Capitoline Museum) on the other side of which is the Piazza del Campidoglio, where the Roman Emperors ruled over Rome. (Unfortunately we thought it was the building to the right with the statues, actually the Monument for Vittorio Emanuele II, so we never made it there)
