Here is the foundation for one of the Wohnbaracken, or barracks used to house prisoners. There were 15 of these barracks that were intended to hold 208 prisoners each. Upon the violent expansion of the Third Reich, however, as many as 1600 prisoners were housed in a barrack. There are actually 34 of these barrack foundations but apparently some of them were used for other purposes. Two of them were used by Dr. Rascher for "experiments" on the prisoners.
