Moument Brunswick, or Brunswick Tomb, for Charles II the "famously eccentric" duke of Brunswick, who died in Geneva in 1873. He left his fortune to the city and asked that his tomb be given prominence and be modeled after the 14-century Scaligeri mausoleum in Verona. |
